The Swine Center is part of the University Farms system and is located approximately two miles southwest of the main campus. It is used for both research and teaching and is a farrow-to-finish operation.
Ongoing research activities encompass multiple areas, including non-ruminant nutrition at cellular and whole-body levels and alternative housing and production practices.

Notes: Additional services to be negotiated with Center Manager and Director of Farm Operations ( i.e. concentrate feeding, hay outside of hay season, etc.)
