Yvonne earned her B.S. (Elementary Education) and M.S.Ed. (Curriculum and Instruction) from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She worked for SIU for three years, mainly with Undergraduate Admissions, before joining the Science Advisement staff in December, 2014.

Mike earned his BA in Philosophy and his MFA from the College of Mass Communications and Media Arts, both at Southern Illinois University. He has taught classes in the Humanities, media history and media production at both SIU and Lindenwood University.

Jean earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biological Sciences from Michigan State University. She became an academic advisor at SIU upon completion of her Master’s degree. In 1991, she was promoted to the Chief Academic Advisor position in the College of Science, now the College of Agriculture, Life and Physical Sciences and has spent 30 years advising science students.

Elizabeth holds a B.S. (Environmental Biology) from Marshall University, a B.A. (English) from the University of Kentucky, and a M.S. (Plant Biology) from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She worked previously as a science writer and editor at the Field Museum and Brookfield Zoo in the Chicago area. She has taught courses in biology, ecology, human anatomy and physiology, and environmental science at Eastern Kentucky University, John A. Logan College, Mineral Area College, and Truman University. She has been advising pre-health and science students for 10 years.
